Hockey SA's Premier League Fridays saw the Woodville Woodpeckers match up against the Seacliff Tigers at the State Hockey Centre.

Starting with the Women's, the first half was kept scoreless, thanks to a tireless defensive effort from the Woodpeckers who held off an unrelenting onslaught from the Tigers. Just minutes into the second however the Tigers finally found goal and aside from one scoring play by the Peckers, controlled the rest of the game.

Over to men's, and it was a similar story. Opening the first half with majority control of the ball, the Tigers  held a small lead heading into half time. The Peckers came out firing and levelled the game early in the second, only to then face a seven unanswered goal onslaught from the Tigers that saw the game end under complete Tiger control.
